How to Open Registry Editor Directly

Registry Editor is a repository that hierarchically stores low-level settings for Windows operating system and for applications.

Open Registry Editor in Run Box

We call a run box to service us, then put the following string in it.

regedit
Open regedit in Run Box
Open regedit in Run Box

Open Registry Editor in cmd.exe

We can also open it in command prompt (cmd.exe) as Administrator in Windows platform.

Windows will show us the registry editor like this:
